Juan Miguel or Boyet is a true-blue Baguio Boy, he finished Social Anthropology with a minor in Psychology in UP Baguio. During college, he did some freelance writing to support his expensive hobbies, that is, mountaineering and biking. When he finally graduated, he explored the outskirts of Bontoc and Mountain Province, then southward to Calabarzon as a field researcher for the UP Populations Institute. He lived in Guiuan, Easter Samar for more than a year and worked as a Communications officer and Community Organizer for Caritas Netherlands (Cordaid). Now, he is currently taking weekend post-graduate classes in UP Los Banos as an MS student in the School of Environmental Sciences and Management.
