A Yolanda survivor himself, Glinly is an athlete and a skilled outdoorsman. A native of Aog, Leyte, he finished a Bachelor of Computer Engineering in Tacloban. A nature-lover and adventure-seeker, he does tour guiding in outdoor spots in Leyte and Samar. He is a mountaineer and spelunker, does indoor and outdoor rock climbing and plays for a frisbee team in Leyte.
A part of the One Tacloban relief operation after the supertyphoon, he involves himself in volunteer work for various NGOs in the region. He also facilitates training on first aid, ropemanship, and other outdoor skills. Though always enthusiastic in traveling and discovering new places, Glinly can’t sleep without his mosquito net..
