Angelo Kairos Torres dela Cruz

SAMSUNG CSCKairos or A.K. works on iCSC’s policy initiatives by innovating strategies that transform policy discussions to positive actions. In and out of the houses of Philippine legislation during the campaign for the passage of the People’s Survival Fund or PSF, the country’s first legislated climate finance with direct access modality. Now leads several initiatives in cascading PSF to localities and communities. Learned a lot and walked even more as a media officer for Task Force Mapalad, a local farmers’ organization. Wrote human-interest stories and news for the iSchools Project, a nationwide computerization program of DOST-Information and Communications Technology Office (DOST-ICTO) in secondary schools using opensource software. Graduated from the University of the Philippines- Baguio with a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences, Major in Economics, Minor in Political Science and a lifetime commitment to Pi Sigma Fraternity. Believes in open source, public transportation, coffee conversations, and living in peace with nature. Always thankful for the beautiful wife and daughter, wise mother and father, cosmically comical brother, and an endearing family. Spends spare time shooting photos, biking, and cooking sinful food.
